Lapis Lazuli Ministries organized the Second Healing Workshop in Lagos on Monday 9th, Monday 16th, Saturday 21st and Monday 23rd of April, 2018.
Over 30 participants were present on Monday 9th of April, 2018 at the workshop which opened at 6:00pm at the Education Hub, City Hall, Catholic Mission Street, Lagos. Participants had a 5 (five) minutes word puzzle before the worship session began.
Dr. (Mrs.) Mina Bajomo introduced participants to some background of the healing ministry. They were also taught about the character of a ministry team member and biblical basis for healing the sick.
Mr. Femi Bajomo gave a talk on the Five Step Prayer model. He gave a rundown of the steps that can be used as guideline when praying for healing. He reiterated the fact this is not the only method, but it’s a model for praying that is effective and easy to follow.
There was time for activation. Participant practiced hearing from God, using the Five Step Prayer Model. Some participants were excited as they could hear from God for the first time.
The workshop continued on Monday 16th of April, 2018 at the Education Hub, Catholic Mission Street, Lagos. Mr. Bajomo did a recap of the 5 Step Prayer Model. Dr. (Mrs.) Bajomo taught on dealing with fear and flowing in the gift of word of knowledge. There was an activation exercise carried out. Participants who had never received words of knowledge before received for the first time and prayed with those who needed healing and saw healing take place. As a result of these prayers, there were testimonies by those who got healed.
The Healing Workshop Activation tagged “Treasure Hunt” was held on Saturday 21st of April, 2018 at 3:30pm at The Palms Mall, 1 Bisway Street, Maroko, Ikoyi Lagos. The Treasure Hunt which was the third Session focused on Activation of what participants have learnt over the past two weeks. 9 people were in attendance at the shopping mall to find their “treasures”. The treasures were particular persons whom God had divinely directed them to.
Dr. (Mrs.) Bajomo introduced the ‘’treasure hunt” to the participants and taught on how to approach the people. They were to pray and get pictures, names, marks, colour of dress or something to identify a treasure when they see them and as God shows them, they should write it down. She also encouraged participants to always ask them to check their body after praying for them to ensure healing has taken place. She also reminded on how to say short prayer using the 5 Steps Prayer Healing Model.
Participants went hunting with all boldness, joy and smiles on their faces and God showed Himself mightily.
Dr. (Mrs.) Bajomo & Joy Onyelelue interceded in prayers as the participants went hunting for souls.
Participants re-assembled at the food court to give feedback/testimonies and experiences. So many healings were reported. Pain in the knee was healed as well as 5 people healed of constant headaches. Peace and hope were restored in the lives of individuals and they promised to attend the Kingdom Empowerment Conference. They marveled on how God revealed names and pictures of them to the participants.
Mr. Bajomo encouraged participants to always pray to get words of knowledge which raises up faith if confirmed by someone. He also said that the more they practice the more they hear from God.
Mrs. Bajomo encouraged participants to always spend time with the Lord in the secret place, praying, listening and asking God “what are You saying”? Because we are partnering with God, He always wants to heal us, He has showed us His love by sacrificing His Son and the healing has been paid for.
At the final session of the Healing Workshop on Monday 23rd of April, 2018, there was thanksgiving for a successful outreach. There was a recap of the Treasure Hunt Testimonies. Dr. Mina Bajomo taught about blockages to prayer and healing and also how to address Fear of Man. She also taught on acts of obedience and keys to unleashing healings and miracles. Participants were encouraged to join the Healing Ministry Team and prayer was said for the Healing Ministry in Nigeria. Mrs. Bajomo encouraged participants to ask questions. Some feedback was received from the Participants.
