The Kingdom Empowerment Conference organized by Lapis Lazuli Ministries was held in Abuja on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th of May, 2018 at the International Conference Centre, Central Area 11, 900, Herbert Macaulay Way, Abuja, Nigeria.
Over 2,000 Participants attended the conference from all parts of Nigeria such as Abuja, Maiduguri, Jos, Kaduna, Kafanchan, Yola, Kano and Lagos. Some participants who came in bus loads from the Northern Part of Nigeria were accommodated. Also, Widows were brought in and accommodated during the conference days. Other Africa countries represented include Ghana, Togo. Participants also attended from the United States of America, Europe and the United Kingdom.
The worship session led by Pastor Chingtok Ishaku, the Senior Pastor of God Life Assembly, Zaria was truly amazing. This was the Second time he was leading worship at a Kingdom Conference as he led at the First Kingdom Conference in Abuja last year.
The Conference started with the Founders of Lapis Lazuli Ministries, Mr. & Mrs. Femi Bajomo welcoming participants to the conference. Ven. Ebenezer then came out to pray for the couple – Mr. & Mrs. Bajomo as the conference was taking off. The Head of PFN, Rev. Isaac Komolafe prayed to open session.
Guest Speakers who ministered mightily at the event were Bishop Joseph Garlington, the Senior Pastor of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, Dr. Leif Hetland, the President of Global Awareness Mission, Dr. Tom Jones, the Vice President of Global Awakening and Charity Cook of Global Awakening.
Bishop Joseph Garlington’s first topic was on shame with his exceptional style of teaching. He sang songs in between his teachings which made his sessions interesting and easy to follow. The message left participants thirsting for more.
The next Guest Speaker Charity Cook taught passionately about how we behave, how we survive, when we are in the middle of the story.
Dr. Leif Hetland, popularly known as an Ambassador of love was to teach at the evening session on the first evening. However, Father God took over when Mr. Bajomo brought a Participant who had been released from 2 year captivity and needed special attention. Dr. Hetland wept with the love of the Father and created space for Father God to come Himself to heal the broken hearted, the oppressed and wounded along with this young girl. There was much weeping and love from the Father’s heart and people drank deeply of the Father’s love. There was no preaching but just a sensitivity to the Father’s love heart and the manifest Presence of the Lord.
During this time, the group from Kano were invited down from the upper gallery where they sat to receive the love of the Father. After about an hour there was a shift in the atmosphere, Pastor Chingtok and the worship team led the most wonderful Holy Ghost Party as everyone danced to Hausa songs. There were such love in the room that speakers, participants loved on one another and danced.
On the second day of the event, Mr. & Mrs. Femi Bajomo were prayed for by Bishop Garlington, his wife Mrs. Barbara Garlington, Dr Leif Hetland and Dr. Tom Jones. As a result of prayer, the Founders of the Ministry Mr. & Mrs. Femi Bajomo ended up flat on their backs. Also, Bishop prayed for Pastor Chingtok and he fell as the Lords’s Presence must have been all over.
Testimonies abound such as sight being restored, the deaf hearing. To read more about testimonies/feedback, please visit our website: www.lapislazuliministries.org
We were honoured to have the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo join the evening session on the Second Day as Bishop Garlington taught prophetically on how to do spiritual welfare. It was a memorable way to end the conference.
